White Zombie is a 1932 black and white movie which inflicts dark magic zombie power to its victims.

Bela Lugosi does a fine acting portrayal of Murder Legendre and Madge Bellamy plays as Madeline Short.

Joseph Cawthorn is Dr. Bruner and John Harron is Neil Parker for the Halperin Production, White Zombie. Also in the cast we will see Robert Frazer as the love-sick Charles Beaumont & Brandon Hurst as Silver, his butler, and many more… “Do you have a match?”

This soundtrack is wonderful. It was composed as a beautiful moving score that gives mood, emotions and we so hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. Mondo Smash A’ Go-Go is from our living to yours, so have fun! Make it a slumber party, get really scared, very scared!

Our dear Bela was criminally offered $500.00 flat for his role, and he accepted for whatever reason; sadly that is all he received monetarily. His acting is superb.

The sets, costumes, and blocking are a true cross over to the motion picture world strongly rooted as silent pictures era expressionism. The performances are very dramatic and believable, the zombies are lifeless yet obey their Zombie Master’s commands.Madge Bellamy plays a lovely bride as Madeline. Watch her preparing for their wedding ceremony in Haiti. Then something horrible threatens to drive the couple apart! The struggle for her very life comes at their reception as man and wife; yet their love is strong. She especially delivers a hypnotic performance as the plot unfolds, and her movie husband John Harron is a strong character as both love and tragedy. His tortured visions of her imploring spirit calling to him are portrayed with a riveting second sight as he struggles against his grief and the powerful clairvoyant sixth sense his soul mate emits into his mind. Madeline is leading him back to rescue her mind from the Zombie master.

The man behind the silver mask, Mondo Smash A’ Go-Gos feature favorite luchadore, El Santo, keeps coming to the public through comic books, films and the once dominant fighter in the wrestling rings of Mexico and the United States of America; still thrills us today.

El Santo was the King masked wrestler of all Lucha Libre.  During his reign in the 1960′s through 1980′s he was The Man in the Silver Mask- a true to life hero!  He acted in over 140 movies in his career to prove it! Write in to let us know how many matches he won!

Your hosts~ Iris & Retina bring you “El Santro Contra Los Mujeres Vampiros” or “El Santo vs. The Vampire Women.”  In this saga El Santo meets dark but beautiful forces, the Vampire Women!  See El Santo in his sports car race to protect and serve helpless victims under the spell of the Vampire Women.  

It was shot in 1962 in Azteca, Mexico & directed by Alfonso Corona Blake.  The featured characters are El Santo as himself, Maria Duval, Jaime Fernandez, Augusto Benedico & Ofelia.  Starring as the Queen Vampire herself, Lorena Valezquez.

Mexican wrestling movies feature a mixed bag of things: wrestling, horror & an occasional musical number, such as the one in tonight’s feature, “Love’s Sonata” by Fabian Grey.

The movie has been dubbed into English since it was bought by American International Television.   The result was El Santo’s name became Samson.
